Ram Gopal Varma Pays Nothing To Cast And Crew For His Next Telugu Flick

Ram Gopal VarmaAfter offering an action flick like Rakhta Charitram for his Telugu viewers, filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma is all set to entertain his viewers with an experimental commercial project. The director will include only a five member crew and present-day digital technology for shooting this film in only five days.

RGV is determined to bear no cost for this film, so none of the cast and crew members are paid even a penny for this project. The film titled Dhongala Mutha star actor Ravi Teja, actress Charmi and other supporting actors like Prakash Raj, Brahmanandam and Lakshmi Manchu in important roles. Usually, it takes around 60 to 120 days to complete a film with over 200 crew members. So, it is definitely going to be a record in Tollywood.

Speaking about the film, the director says that it will be a two-hour feature film and no one is being paid for it. If the film becomes able to make profit after its release, everyone will be paid their dues according to their individual pre-agreed valuations.

However, RGV is not compromising with the technology and using best of it for the film to shape up. He says that he will prove that it needs a good exciting story to make a film and not crores of money. He informs that the film is not using any light and equipment and generator for shooting. They are using only hand-held cameras and natural light to shoot the scenes.

The director-producer also does not agree to take take risk with unknown actors, so he signed a audience drawing star like Ravi Teja for this film. He says Teja has the market value to attract the viewers, so the actor has been signed.

Puri Jagannath is co-directing the movie, which has Harish Shankar as the assistant director of Ram Gopal Varma. The film is set to release on March 11, just after one month of starting the shooting.
