Vienna - It might have been considered a delicacy in some parts of the world, but a Vienna woman lost her appetite when she discovered a dead frog in frozen spinach she was cooking, Austrian daily Oesterreich reported Tuesday.

"Any green vegetable sickens me now," the 32-year-old woman told the newspaper after having found the brown amphibian in what was supposed to be her dinner.

Vienna - Starting from Europe, the South Korean industrial conglomerate Hyundai Corporation is in the process of entering the global mobile phone business, Hyundai's distribution partner said Tuesday in Vienna.

Hyundai Mobile Europe, an independent distributing company recently founded in Vienna, plans to sell Hyundai phones in 23 Western and Eastern European countries, as well as in South America and the Middle East.

"We are very optimistic [that we will] achieve break-even ... next year, and reach a market share of 3 to 5 per cent within 5 years," said Norbert Winkler, chief executive of Hyundai Mobile Europe.

Vienna - The price for crude oil produced by the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) fell by 1.13 dollars Monday, as the cartel made a further downward revision in its demand outlook for 2009.

One barrel (159 litres) of OPEC crude stood at 47.96 dollars, compared with 49.09 dollars last Friday, the Vienna-based organization said Tuesday.

In its latest monthly market report, OPEC forecast 86.68 million barrels per day of crude-oil demand for next year, 530,000 barrels per day less than predicted in October.

Vienna - The takeover of Austrian Airlines AG by Deutsche Lufthansa AG is expected to be concluded by the end of the year, the Austrian state holding OeIAG announced Thursday.

Since Air France-KLM and Russian carrier S7 did not submits offers conforming to the specifications of the bidding process, OeIAG said, it would now enter into exclusive "closing talks" with Lufthansa about selling its 42.75-per-cent stake.
