Jaipur: Carrying on the lower court’s decision in the chinkara hunting case, the Jodhpur District and Sessions Court confirmed the five-year detention granted to bollywood star Salman Khan in the nine-year-old black buck hunting case.
The court rejected Salman’s plea against his judgment of conviction in the case, awarded to him by a lower court in 2006. Another accused, Govardhan Singh, was, however, discharged.
New Delhi: Sunil Kant Munjal, Hero Corporate Services Chairman said instead of being wary of each others development, India and China should fabricate synergies to develop with each other.
“We should not be wary of China's progress, but should build synergies and connectivity, wherein the progress is shared between the two countries,” Mr. Munjal said at industry meeting room PHDCCI's CEO lecture series.
Mumbai: As directed by the Supreme Court, the bollywood star Sanjay Dutt will have to present himself before the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) today.
The apex court ordered that Sanjay Dutt and other convicts, discharged on financial guarantee (bail), must present themselves before the CBI bureau in Mumbai every Friday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
