Jaipur, Dec 22 : Tomato growers and traders in Rajasthan feel the heat of the plummeting prices of the perishable commodity following suspension of exports to Pakistan as the border has been sealed in the wake of Mumbai terror attacks.
Tomato crop, which was earlier, exported to Pakistan via Wagah boarder is now landing in the local markets leading to overflow of tomato. As a result, the tomato business is incurring huge losses.

New Delhi/Jaipur/Raipur, Dec 9 : Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) met here to analyze the results, as the ruling Congress party emerged victorious in three out of the five states.
The votes come before national elections in the first half of 2009 that will pit a ruling Congress-led coalition against an opposition alliance led by the BJP.
Arun Jaitley, general secretary of BJP, said that the party would form a committee to analyse the outcome of the polls.
Jaipur, Dec 6 : Re-polling will be held in Rajasthan on December 7 instead of December 6 as announced earlier by the Election Commission, official sources said here today.
The Chief Electoral Office had announced in Jaipur on Friday that re-polling would be held in about three dozen polling booths in the districts of Ajmer, Bharatpur, Bhilwara, Dausa, Dholpur, Jaipur, Jhalawar, Kota and Sawaimadhopur.
The respective returning officers announced re-polling after getting complaints of rigging, EVM malfunctioning, and booth capturing during polling on Thursday.
