Solange Knowles marries longtime boyfriend Ala Ferguson

Los Angeles Singer Solange Knowles has tied the knot with music director boyfriend Alan Ferguson at a church in New Orleans.

The couple got married on Sunday in front of about 100 close friends and family, including sister Beyonce and brother-in-law Jay Z, reported E! Online.

Everyone, including the couple, wore white for the ceremony. Solange, 28, sported a stunning Humberto Leon for Kenzo floor-length gown with an attached cape.

Beyonce wore a short fitted dress, while Jay Z sported a white suit. The couple beamed as they took photos after the ceremony, while mother Tina Knowles, 60, in a long-sleeve, floor length gown, was spotted holding hands with her boyfriend.

Los Angeles - Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence is all praise for her 'Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part One' co-stars Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson.

The actress, 24, who attended the premiere of the film, said they are her her angels, reported Us magazine.

"Oh my God. They are my angels. They are my kittens. We can't even watch the movie together.

"It's really really hard acting with your best friend, because you have to pretend to be somebody else, and they are pretending to be somebody else. And you have to keep eye contact with them and be serious. It's really hard," she said. (PTI)

Joshua Leonard to guest star in 'Bates Motel' season 3

Los Angeles - Actor Joshua Leonard, best known for his role in 1999's 'The Blair Witch Project, has landed a cameo in the upcoming season of 'Bates Motel'.

Leonard, 39, will play James Finnigan, a community college psych professor whose pull towards Norma (Vera Farmiga) slowly chips away at his carefully constructed house of cards, reported Aceshowbiz.

The gig reunites the actor and Farmiga, who played husband and wife in 2011's indie flick 'Higher Ground' directed by the actress.

The third season of the 'Psycho' prequel series will premiere in March 2015. (PTI)

Los Angeles - Less than one month after giving birth to her daughter, Mila Kunis is reportedly in hurry to shed her extra flab.

The 31-year-old actress is determined to drop the 45 pounds she gained while pregnant with Wyatt Isabelle, her first child with husband Ashton Kutcher, reported OK! magazine.

"Mila is doing an hour each of yoga and Pilates a day," a source said. (PTI)

Sean Bean joins Matt Damon in 'The Martian'

Los Angeles - Actor Sean Bean has joined Matt Damon in 'The Martian', the space survival drama Ridley Scott is directing for Twentieth Century Fox.

The story centers on an astronaut (Damon) who is stranded in a Martian colony and struggles to survive, hoping he can last long enough for NASA to organise a rescue mission, according Hollywood Reporter.

The cast already includes such high-profile names as Jessica Chastain, Jeff Daniels, Kate Mara, Michael Pena and Kristen Wiig.

Scott is producing with Simon Kinberg and Aditya Sood, who originally found the book on which the film is based. Drew Goddard wrote the script.

Adele enjoys night out with Beyonce, Jay Z

Los Angeles - Singing talents Adele, Beyonce and Jay Z were spotted at Harry's Bar for a weekend kick-off meal.

Adele, 26, looked relaxed and comfortable, rocking a barely-there make-up look. The 'Someone Like You' singer also sported an oversized gray sweater and patterned scarf.

Beyonce, 33, on the other hand, went for a more dressed up look. Queen Bey was smoking hot in a floral romper and black heels. The singer also showed off those infamous new bangs to complete the look.

Beyonce's husband also looked happy to be next to his wife. Jay Z stepped out in all black everything, with a camouflage coat to add some colour.

Ebola is a form of population control: Chris Brown

Los Angeles - R&B singer Chris Brown has revealed that Ebola, which has killed more than 4000 people in West Africa, is a kind of population control.

The 25-year-old singer took to Twitter to make the controversial statement about the disease. "I don't know... But I think this Ebola epidemic is a form of population control. It is getting crazy bruh," he wrote.

Brown received backlash after sending out the tweets. "He has obviously ignored Twitter's key rule: Think before you tweet. This is a global emergency about three countries struggling with a deadly disease, countries whose health systems are under immense strain," Jane Moyo, a spokesperson for British charity Action Aid, said.

Reese Witherspoon is ready to direct

Los Angeles - Reese Witherspoon is keen to sit in the director's chair.

The Oscar-winning actress says directing is her next step.

"I've actually been thinking about it.I'm actually working on a project right now," she told E! News at Variety's Power of Women gala.

The actress has already turned producer with Ben Affleck starrer box office hit 'Gone Girl'.

She has also produced and is starring in the adaptation of Cheryl Strayed's memoir 'Wild: From Lost to Found on the Pacific Crest Trail'. PTI

Jennifer Lopez reunites with former boyfriend

Los Angeles - Former couple Jennifer Lopez and Sean 'Diddy' Combs enjoyed a night out together in Hollywood.

Lopez, 45, and Diddy, 44, partied the night away at Hooray Henry's with a group of friends, including her longtime manager Benny Medina, reported Us magazine.

Prior to the party, both Lopez and Diddy ate at Mr Chow, though it remains unclear whether they dined together. The multi-hyphenates, however, left within minutes of each other and met up later at the club to celebrate the birthday of their mutual friend and video director Jesse Terreo.

Combs and Lopez dated for nearly three years. (PTI)

Meghan Trainor tops UK chart with 'All about that bass'

Los Angeles - Pop star Meghan Trainor's latest single 'All About That Bass' has reached number one position in the UK charts.

The song's first week out in full release saw it shoot straight for the top of the UK chart, just like it did in the US a month before, reportedly.

'All About That Bass' is the first UK chart topper to get there entirely on streaming plays. Its combined sales in the first week come out to 144,000 with 1.4 million streaming plays accounting for about over 9 per cent of the aggregated tally. (PTI)

Downey Jr says doing the fourth movie will be a way of repaying the 'Braveheart' star for the things he did to help Downey during the self-destructive chapter in his life years ago, reports suggest.

When asked about his future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe if he ends up hanging up his armor suit, Downey Jr said, "That's all being talked about on a bunch of different levels right now." (PTI)

Clifford is not the only Austalian band's member whose hearing got damaged because of the screaming fans, reportedly.

"I went to a hearing check-up, and I've actually lost high-pitched... Noises in my right ear. I think they've lowered or something," Clifford said.

Damien Chazelle to direct Neil Armstrong biopic

Damien_ChazelleLos Angeles - 'Whiplash' helmer Damien Chazelle is in contention to direct a film on the life of Neil Armstrong, the first man who walked on the moon.

Developed by Universal, the biopic has been scripted by Josh Singer ('The Fifth Estate'), reprotedly.

It is based on the book 'First Man: A Life of Neil A. Armstrong' written by James Hansen who had full access to Armstrong's family as well as NASA when he penned it.

The project has been developed for years. At one point, it was set up at Warner Bros with Clint Eastwood attached to direct and produce. No actor has been announced for the biopic.
