Melbourne, Aug 7 : An American woman who flew to Australia to have sex with a 15-year-old boy she met on the Internet has pleaded guilty to child sex offences.

On August 6, Barbara Case pleaded guilty to performing oral sex and having sexual intercourse with a child under 16 after police caught her with the Bendigo teen who had been reported missing by his parents.

The 36-year-old flew from her Virginian home to Australia where she performed sex acts with the teenager between May 16 and 27 after befriending him on the web, the Herald Sun reported.

Case was arrested in May, three days after the boy was reported missing.

Melbourne, Aug. 6 : After refusing all along to make public its investigations into last year’s bungled case against Indian doctor Mohamed Haneef, the Australian Federal Police on Wednesday said that it would provide an uncensored version of its submission to the public inquiry.

"The Australian Federal police (AFP) was in the process of compiling a public version of its submission, devoid of sensitive information supplied to the AFP by the London Metropolitan Police Service," a Clarke inquiry spokesman was quoted as saying by The Australian.

Melbourne, Aug 4 : The British couple arrested in Dubai for allegedly having sex on a beach will be facing trial on August 21.

Michelle Palmer, 30, and Vince Acors, 34, may be given the harshest sentence after DNA tests proved they had "full sex", News. com. au reported.

The couple could be sentenced up to six years in jail after Dubai police charged the two British tourists with having sex in public, illicit sex and being drunk in public.

The two had denied the charges, but the DNA tests proved that they had full sex, and as per reports from The Sun newspaper, Acors had admitted to the act.

Melbourne, Aug. 4 : The Australian Federal Police has said that without the consent of the British authorities, it would be impossible for them to make public their submissions on investigations related to the bungled terrorism case against Dr. Mohamed Haneef.

AFP Commissioner Mick Keelty was quoted by The Australian as saying that the “problem is the material that we''ve provided to Mr (Judge) Clarke, a good proportion of it, belongs to the United Kingdom authorities and we don''t have consent to release that. I don''t have consent to release that, the organisation doesn''t have consent to release it, nor does Mr Clarke.”

Melbourne, Aug. 4 : A police officer who interviewed terrorism suspect Mohamed Haneef after his arrest last July will this week give evidence at the inquiry into the bungled case.

According to news. com. au, Detective Sergeant Adam Simms, from Queensland Police, will appear before retired New South Wales Supreme Court judge John Clarke''s inquiry into the affair tomorrow.
