The Meatpacking District steakhouse located in the Old Hampstead region of New York has created a replica of the meat dress worn by Lady Gaga. Reports claim that the replica which weighs at 85 pounds has brought in an amount of US $100,000 for the American steakhouse. We are well aware of the controversy that the Lady Gaga meat dress had created when the lady herself had worn it to the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards. But we are also aware of the fan base of the singer on US soil, a reason for which her dress has won the attention of many, who are more than ready to spare the amount to acquire the Lady Gaga lookalike.

The owner of the steakhouse which has come up with the replica said in a statement to the media that the Franc Fernandez creation was unique by its own right, but since he was a dealer in steaks, he wanted to better on the idea. In fact, the man feels that he has done justice to the Lady Gaga meat dress replica.

But is $100,000 too much a price to pay? Of course not, says the Meatpacking District steakhouse. Apart from the meat dress replica that the money fetches, it also brings home a bag of goodies for all are prepared to put aside the amount.
