Repro India to setup printing unit at Surat SEZ

Mumbai-based Repro India Ltd has informed that the company is setting up a printing unit in a special economic zone at Surat. The company is in the process of acquisition of the property and the necessary procedural formalities for the commencement of production at new location.

Repro India Limited operates as an integrated print solution company in India. The company’s clients in the educational printing segment include publishers like Orient Longman, Egmont Imagination, Encyclopaedia Britannica, Oxford University Press, Jeevandeep Publications, and others.

The company also engages in the replication of software CD's, and stock management activities.

The net profit of Repro India rose 68.13% to Rs 4.59 crore in the quarter ended March 2008 as against Rs 2.73 crore during the fourth quarter ended March 2007.

The company has recommended dividend at the rate of 20% for the financial year ended 31 March 2008.
