Rise in swine flu cases KeralaSwine Flu which supposedly is not being paid enough heed by the authorities is slowly taking a toll on Indian states.

The recent reports state that six more individuals were tested positive with the swine flu, where the total population rose above thirty six in Kerala alone, according to a Health department official.

The figures claim that thirteen of the patients are from Thiruvananthapuram, eight come from Kollam, five are from Kozhikode, four from Ernakulam, three come in from Malappuram, two from Alappuzha and one from Kottayam, as per the reports of H1N1 monitoring cell of the Health department.

In addition to the above one patient succumbed to death with an infection at Kottayam Medical College Hospital on June 11, taking the swine flu figure to a startling forty eight , since its outbreak last year.

And seventeen individuals were quarantined in hospitals while 20 undergo the treatment from their homes itself.
