Los Angeles: Actors Ryan Gosling and Russell Crowe are reportedly in negotiations to star in upcoming movie `The Nice Guys`.

The film has long been developed by director Shane Black. Black and Anthony Bagarozzi write the script, while Joel Silver serves as a producer, reportedly.

The film has been dubbed as "kind of the next version of what `Kiss Kiss (Bang Bang)` was; a more advanced version."

The film will follow Jackson Healy, a muscle-for-hire and a recovering alcoholic team up with Holland March, a private eye and practicing alcoholic) to investigate the suicide of a fading porn star.--- PTI
