Bollywood is well known to celebrate festivals with exuberance, the same hold true for Salman Khan who celebrated Ganesha Chaturthi with full fire and zeal.

At his residence in Bandra Mumbai, Sallu Miyan performed all the rituals related to the festival. Commenting on the celebrations Kat’z beau said, “We have been celebrating the festival for a long time and this is the occasion when all our family members come together to celebrate it in a big way. We bring Ganapati to our home for three days and I feel a special power in His presence."

Sallu also disclosed that in his family there are people of different faiths but when it comes to religion, there has never been any problem.

The festival of Ganesha Chaturthi is celebrated for a period of ten days to worship Lord Ganesha. Lord Ganesha is considered as the supreme god of wealth, wisdom and good destiny. The festival is celebrated all over the country but it is most elaborate in Maharashtra and Goa.
