Bollywood's playback singer Shaan is really excited about lending his voice for the songs in the Hindi animation 3D movie 'Bird Idol', which is ready to hit theatres soon.

Shaan has sung three songs, 'Happy Bird-Day', 'Hey you and Oomph', 'Soniye', which he had a great time singing.

Shaan thinks that his songs in the film were very enjoyable.

In an interesting manner, all the songs are Hinglish pop songs with a touch of rock. The film and its pleasant music is aimed towards kids up to the age of 12 or for elderly as long as they feel young at heart.

Shaan says that he really loved recording the songs.

Shaan is not just a singer; he also judges many music shows.

He likes to concentrate on the depth of the voices of newcomers but he thinks that the Hindi film industry is at fault for being in an experimentation stage where even non-singing voices are approved of.

He also believes that a song's success hinged upon the singer and writer and that the popularity of a song depends on its exposure. The artiste plays a vital role in highlighting the song as promoting a song personally is sometimes a hard job. When the film succeeds, the songs also work.
