Short Term Buy Call For HCCTechnical analyst Pankaj Jain of Satguru Capital has maintained 'buy' rating on Hindustan Construction Company Limited (HCC) stock with a target above Rs 50.

According to analyst, the said target can be achieved in a period of three months.

Mr. Jain added that the interested investors can also hold the stock with a long-term view.

Today, the stock of the company opened at Rs 44.85 on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).

The share price has seen a 52-week high of Rs 81.10 and a low of Rs 40.50 on BSE.

Current EPS & P/E ratio stood 1.62 and 28.29 respectively.

HCC Ltd inked a deal with VINCI Construction Grands Projets of France to conjointly work on proposed power, water, transportation and infra projects in the domestic country in addition to other nations.

The projected nuclear reactor 2x1,650 MWe EPR of Areva, France, at Jaitapur in Maharashtra's Ratnagiri region, is a targeted combined task under this deal where both the firms will team up to take part in the building of the project in a value-added approach.

For July-September quarter, HCC registered a net profit of Rs 121.37 million as against Rs 55.15 million for the three month period ended September 2009.

The company's total income surged 13.62% to Rs 8,906.78 million for the three month period ended Sept 2010 from Rs 7839.124 million in the corresponding period of last year.
