Karachi, Mar. 02 : Former Pakistan captain Javed Miandad has questioned the role of Shahid Afridi as T20 skipper following his nation's humiliating five-wicket loss to India in the much-anticipated Asia Cup clash.
Opting to bat, Pakistan failed to adapt to conditions as they avoided their lowest T20 score by just nine runs. They were bowled out for a paltry 83 in Mirpur.
Speaking to a local news channel, Miandad claimed that Afridi had stopped being a reliable performer, adding that the flamboyant all-rounder had lost his place in the side a long time ago, the Dawn reported.
