Strike halts trains in Muslim-Croat Federation
Sarajevo - Trains in Muslim-Croat Federation Bosnia- Herzegovina were halted Thursday morning by a railway workers strike, local media reported.
Workers said they called the strike in protest against government plans to cut their monthly pays by 10 per cent
Trains in all major cities of the Federation - Sarajevo, Mostar, Tuzla, Bihac - were halted at 7 am local time Thursday.
Trains in the Serbian entity - the Serb Republic - however, were operating as normal.
After the 1992-95 war, Bosnia was divided into two largely autonomous entities - the Muslim-Croat Federation and the Serb Republic. (dpa)
