The Sun Television network has declared its year-end financial results for the fiscal year 2009-10. The company has posted a net profit of Rs 567.38 crore for the year that ended in 31st March, 2010. This net profit figure has grown up by 29.8 % in this quarter as compared to the same quarter in the last fiscal.

This has been informed by the firm in a filing at the Bombay Stock Exchange. So far as the total income of the firm is concerned, it has touched Rs 1,437.52 crore during the fiscal year 2009-10. It was Rs 1,091.52 crore for last financial year 2008-09. There has been a hike of 31.70% in the total income of the firm in this year against last year.

The annual net profit after tax of the company was reported to be Rs 437.11 crore for the year under review with a hike from last year's figure. The board has decided to recommend a dividend of 150% to the shareholders for the financial year 2009-10.
