Reportedly, this set that is all about a keyboard, has a 3.2-megapixel camera, Wi-Fi connectivity and all the e-mail features that make BlackBerry popular with businesspeople.

GSMA to realize charging standardization for mobile phones by 2012

GSMA The Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, Tuesday had GSMA announce its plan to realize an industry-wide standard with regard to a universal mobile phone charger by January 2012.

Bigwigs, like Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Motorola, Samsung, and Qualcomm, are among the seventeen mobile handset-makers and service-providers that are backing GSMA's announcement of a universal charging solution -UCS - based on the industry-standard Micro USB interface.

Nokia offers Xpress Music 5800Nokia is planning to impress mobile phone users with XpressMusic 5800 phone, which is also dubbed as 'Tube'. As per industry experts, the set would be available in North America by 26th February.

However, the Nokia Xpress Music comes with a higher price tag of $400.

Online app store to be launched by Microsoft

Online app store to be launched by MicrosoftOn Sunday, a well known paper put forward the latest piece of news that Microsoft Corp is mulling to provide new programs and services for mobile phones, including an “online bazaar” for software. 

The report published in the paper said that the online bazaar would be for phones running Microsoft's Windows Mobile operating system.

It said, “Microsoft will also soon offer its latest version of Windows Mobile, which the report said would have a more sophisticated interface.”
