Melbourne, May 11 : The Australian arm of the Church of Scientology are eagerly awaiting the arrival of Katie Holmes, and her husband Tom Cruise to welcome the devotees "with open arms".

The actress is expected to jet into the country for the filming of her upcoming flick Don''t Be Afraid of the Dark, and her better half and three-year-old daughter Suri may also accompany her.

The controversial religious organisation is looking forward to welcome the celebrity couple, known for their strong belief in Scientology.

"Of course the church would never be told of their movements, but if they did come we would welcome them with open arms," the Daily Telegraph quoted Aussie spokeswoman Vicky Dunstan as saying.

"Tom has had an association with the Australian branch of Scientology before and if he was to move to Sydney or Melbourne we would love to have him," she added. (ANI)
