Indian Hotels Company (IHC) has said that the tourism boom in the country will raise the revenue of the firm in this current fiscal year. Indian Hotels Company (IHC) owns the chain of luxury restaurants including the Taj Hotels.

It has been informed that, the tourism industry is reviving from the affect of global economic downturn.

So the organization is expecting a superior revenue and net figure in this ongoing season and all set to take the advantage of this boost in the industry.

The company is expecting a revenue rise of more than 10% in this fiscal against the previous fiscal. Its topline is expected to touch around Rs 200 crore on consolidated basis in this year.

For the fiscal 2008, the company had posted revenue of Rs 180 crore despite the slowdown in the market. There was a hike of 10% in the revenue in that year against its preceding year.

However, the situation is much improved now in the tourism sector and IHC is hoping to get the advantage of this improvement.
