According to sources, Toyota had issued a contradictable note to the research of an auto expert, Professor David Gilbert. According to the professor, there are some possible issues in the electronics of Toyota vehicles which had spurred the sudden acceleration. Professor Gilbert acknowledged the same in ABC news interview.

However in the protest against the statement made by Professor Gilbert, Toyota officials demonstrated on internet that the actual scene is pretty far from the statements affirmed by the professor.

The officials and consultants from the engineering wing expressed that according to Gilbert short circuits in the vehicle paved the way to sudden acceleration making the car to decelerate, which is not true at all as the same would not happen in the actual use of a car.

To prove this fact Toyota official acclaimed that they would do anything if asked by Gilbert and any other research agency.

However Dr. Gilbert demonstrated no evidence to support his scenario.
