Colin Farrell has never read 'Harry Potter' books

Los Angeles, Oct 24 : Actor Colin Farrell never read the "Harry Potter" books before starring in "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them".

The Irish actor plays the role of Percival Graves, the director of security at the Magical Congress of US, in the eagerly awaited-new movie, which is based on J.K. Rowling's book by the same name.

Farrell shared that he has never read Rowling's most popular books but is a self-confessed fan of the "Harry Potter" film series, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

"There are a few films where in they're on the television, I just can't turn them off, they're just so comforting and any 'Harry Potter' series qualifies as one of those films.

Father's comments were inappropriate, offensive: Ivanka Trump

Washington, Oct 19 : Ivanka Trump finally broke silence on on the 2005 tape in which Donald trump made sexually aggressive remarks about women, and said that the comments were "clearly inappropriate and offensive."

"My father's comments were clearly inappropriate and offensive and I'm glad that he acknowledged this fact with an immediate apology to my family and the American people," CNN quoted Trump's eldest daughter as saying in a statement.

She added that her "greatest comfort" is that she knows her father while "most of the people who write about him don't". This gives her the ability to "shrug off" reports she knows are wrong.

Ivanka also said that media often refers to her as Trump's 'surrogate wife' which was a "deeply offensive" thing to say.

Sigourney Weaver joins `The Defenders` cast

Washington D.C. [USA], Oct. 10 : American multinational entertainment company, Netflix, recently confirmed speculations that Sigourney Weaver would be appearing in the much awaited Marvel action series 'The Defenders.'

The official Twitter handle for 'The Defenders' recently tweeted a video of ' The Defenders' complete cast treating the fans with special appearance at the recent New York Comic Con.

The 67-year-old American actress and producer will join the Marvel and Netflix's upcoming team up project that will combine characters from Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist.

Although her role is not known yet, the short video clip shows the 'Avatar' star making guest appearance along with co-stars Charlie Cox, Krysten Ritter, Mike Colter and Finn Jones.

Chris Pratt scolds fan who curses him

Los Angeles, Sep 22 : Actor Chris Pratt confronted a fan who cursed at him after failing to get his autograph.

In a video posted on tmz.com, Pratt can be seen walking out of the Los Angeles International Airport and getting surrounded by a bunch of fans asking him to sign autographs as he made his way to his SUV. He managed to sign some, but decided to stop when he got into his car.

One man who didn't get Pratt's autograph expressed his disappointment by cursing at the actor, who then rolled down his window to scold him.

"You're cussing me out for not signing for you," Pratt asked.

"You should be nicer, you have a cross on your chest and you're cussing me out? I made you guys a bunch of money just now. Come on man don't be a jerk," he added.

Jared Leto to play, produce Andy Warhol biopic

Washington D.C. [USA], Sept. 21 : 44-year-old American actor and singer, Jared Leto will play Andy Warhol in a new biopic called 'Warhol.'

The 'Suicide Squad' actor is cast to play the role of Andy Warhol, a leading figure in the visual art movement known as pop art in 1960s, reports The Guardian.

'Warhol' is a biopic which tells the life of the pop art pioneer from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

The screenplay created by Terrence Winter will show the early life of Warhol, who shot to fame in the 1960s with his unique take on American consumerism.

The then 39-year-old Warhol was also openly gay at a time when homosexuality was not readily accepted and suffered as a victim of an attempted murder by Valerie Solanas, an aspiring writer and radical feminist, in 1968.

Johnny Depp bids $7m. adieu to Amber Heard

Washington D.C., Aug. 17 : Amber Heard has finally dropped her domestic abuse allegations against Johnny Depp, settling for a seven million dollars out-of-court divorce settlement instead.

The two filed legal documents on August 16 in which the 30-year-old actress withdrew her request for a restraining order, reports TMZ.com.

Heard dismissed the case, where she alleged that the 'Black Mass' actor brutalised her on May 21, meaning she can never re-file it.

Depp's lawyers, Laura Wasser and Blair Berk, along with Heard's lawyers, Pierce O'Donnell and Samantha Spector, crafted this settlement after she was grilled last week during a deposition.

Washington D.C., Aug. 12 : He is the famous junior Beckham and she is the ' Kick-Ass' star, hence even their casual romantic day at a beach was too hot to handle.

Hollywood sweethearts Chloe Grace Moretz and Brooklyn Beckham were at the Laguna Beach, California on August 10 afternoon, spending some quality time together, glimpses of which was later shared through black and white candid shots on Instagram, reports E! Online.

In one of the snaps, 17-year-old Beckham captured his movie star girlfriend walking along the shore donning a string bikini underneath a button-down collared shirt.

"Beach day," the son of Victoria Beckham captioned it with a heart.

Disney's new princess Moana won't fall in love

Washington D.C, Jul 23 : Step aside, Elsa! Disney's newest princess Moana is all about "finding herself" and not her own version of Prince Charming.

Moana, the titular character in Disney's first-ever animated film about a Polynesian princess, will not fall in love, the Entertainment Weekly reported.

Directors Ron Clements and John Musker, best known for 'Aladdin,' told a Comic Con panel that Moana, voiced by Auli'i Cravalho, will remain prince-less while battling to save the world with legendary demigod Maui, voiced by Dwayne Johnson.

Those lucky e nough to attend the event in San Diego were shown the first three minutes of the film and given more details of the plot.

Washington.D.C, July 22 : Looks like the decision to cut Chris Hemsworth's dance sequence in 'Ghosbusters' reboot was a pricey one.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the scene of the 'Thor' star dancing to the Bee Gees, which now appears in the closing credits, cost in the low seven figures and was apparently the "biggest decision" of director Paul Feig's life.

In the scene, the 32-year-old actor's possessed receptionist character is seen leading hundreds of New York Police Department officers and camouflage-clad soldiers in a choreographed dance to the song 'You Should Be Dancing' in the middle of Times Square.

The scene was removed after receiving "not so good" reaction from viewers during the test screening.

According to the couple, they have been living separately for the last six months and planned to remain friends, reports TMZ. com.

Musk has co-founded Paypal and has gone on to help start the electric car company Tesla Motors and the private space firm SpaceX. Riley, on the other hand, has appeared in ' Pride and Prejudice' and ' Inception' and wrote and directed her first feature film, 'Scottish Mussel,' in 2014.
