Who Is Leading Nationally; Clinton Or Obama?Well, the sixty seven percent (67%) of the opinion polls conducted nationwide in the month of May show Sen. Barack Obama in lead, while thirty three percent (33%) of the polls favor Sen. Hillary Clinton. It certainly indicates that Obama is leading Clinton nationally.

Here's what the nationwide opinion polls say:–

Ipsos Public Affairs’ opinion poll conducted from April 30 to May 4, 2008 showed Clinton leading Obama by 7 % points – 47 % to 40 % among the democratic voters nationally. With MoE = 4.3%, the poll indicated that more democrats wanted Clinton to be the Democratic presidential candidate.

USA Today/Gallup opinion poll conducted from May 1 to May 4, 2008 showed Clinton leading Obama by 7 % points – 51 % to 44 % among the democratic voters nationally. Again, the poll indicated that more democrats wanted Clinton to be the Democratic presidential candidate.

But, the positions dramatically changed in May 8-11, 2008 opinion poll conducted by ABC News/Washington Post. The 2008 showed Obama leading Clinton by 12 % points – 53 % to 41 % among the democratic voters nationally. The poll signaled that more democrats wanted Obama to be the Democratic presidential candidate

Quinnipiac University conducted from May 8-12, 2008 showed Obama leading Clinton by 4 % points – 45 % to 41 % among the democratic voters nationally. The poll indicated the Obama’s nationwide surge.

Rasmussen Reports Daily Tracking Poll conducted from May 10-13, 2008 showed Obama leading Clinton by 7 % points – 50 % to 43 % among the democratic voters nationally. The poll indicated the democrats feel that Obama was the better candidate that Clinton.

Gallup Daily Tracking Poll conducted from May 11-13, 2008 showed Obama leading Clinton by 6 % points – 50 % to 44 % among the democratic voters nationally. The poll indicated the democrats supports Obama for the Democratic presidential candidacy.
