Sen. Obama, who has virtually stolen all the recent shows, is being projected as the clear candidate for the democratic nomination, but on the other hand, Sen. Clinton, who has recently gone thru a series of debacles, is being viewed as the leader fighting for her salvage.

However the battle is still closely poised. Presently, Obama leads Clinton with 1374 to 1275 delegates. Texas, Ohio, Rhode Island, and Vermont are going on official Republican and Democratic polls on March 4. At stake are, 17 Republican delegate and 23 Democratic delegates in Vermont. This is what the recent polls say on Clinton vs Obama contest for delegates in Vermont.

The ‘Research 2000 for WCAX’ conducted on 19-21 Feb. articulates that Barack Obama is leading Hillary Clinton with 53% to 39% among democratic voters in Vermont. According to the poll, Obama has 14 % point lead over Clinton. Indicating Obama’s huge win in Vermont, the poll has margin of error, 4.9%.

The American Research Group’s poll conducted on 20-21 Feb. shows Barack Obama leading Hillary Clinton with 60% to 34% among democratic voters in Vermont. Showing Obama 26 % point ahead Clinton, the poll indicates Obama’s massive win in Vermont. He may win majority of delegates in Vermont. The poll has 3.9% margin of error.

Rasmussen Reports’ recent poll conducted on 24 Feb in Vermont says that Barack Obama is leading with 57% while Hillary Clinton has 33% to her side. This poll shows Obama 24 % point ahead Clinton. The poll signals huge win for Barack Obama in Vermont. According to the poll, he may take most of delegates in Vermont. The poll has 3.0% margin of error.   

On the Republican front, the Research 2000 for WCAX, 19-21 Feb. Poll shows that John McCain (52%) is leading Mike Huckabee (32%) and Ron Paul (7%). The poll has 4.9% MoE. 

 And, American Research Group’s 20-21 Feb. Poll shows that John McCain (73%) is leading Mike Huckabee (9%) and Ron Paul (11%) in the contests for republican delegates in Vermont. The poll has 3.6% MoE.
