Volkswagen unveils the 2011 Jetta
There is no denying that when Volkswagen does something in the market it always does it with style.
Be it the road blocking activities of the company in the Indian market or the other creative methods to make its presence felt, the company surely knows how to make space for itself. In fact, when it unveiled the 2011 Jetta in the US market recently, the venue had to be Times Square Garden.
The event was studded with media from around the world as well as regular people just passing by Times Square. While Katie Perry turning on the heat with a sizzling performance of her hit singles, people were more interested in looking at the product.
The model was unveiled by CEO of the American market, Stefan Jacoby along with Klaus Bischoff - German Head of Design for the Volkswagen Brand.
Notably, Volkswagen is trying to gain significant ground in the US market and its recent attempt with the Jetta has been spot on as far as the efforts to take up the consumer perception is concerned. Expected to cost close to $16,000 (approx. Rs 7.5 lakh) for the base version, Jetta is expected to become the talk of the town soon.
