'Zaraa sambhaal ke!'

'Zaraa sambhaal ke!'Toronto, June 23 : A word of caution - that's what Bollywood beauties are getting, apart from the warm welcome, at the Fairmont Royal York hotel here as they arrive here to attend the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Weekend and Awards which kickstart Thursday.

"Caution - Long dresses may get caught on the escalator," read metal signboards near each escalator.

It seemed like a direct warning for those divas who plan to sizzle on the green carpet of the event wearing long, flowing dresses to flaunt their oomph factor! Of course, spoiling the dress, and falling off the escalator would be the last thing they would want... so better be warned!

A host of actresses including Anushka Sharma, Kangna Ranaut, Dia Mirza, Minissha Lamba, Genelia D'Souza, Mallika Sherawat and the evergreen Zeenat Aman will attend the three-day extravaganza.

Where's SRK, ask crazy fans in Toronto

A host of Bollywood actors are in town, but all that Hindi movie fans want is "Shah Rukh! Shah Rukh"! Well, at least, that's what they've been shouting here.

"Where's SRK? When will he come?" asked 20-year-old Aditi Singh, a college student. She was at Fairmont Royal York hotel with a bunch of her Indian friends to get a taste of Bollywood as the stars gathered here for the IIFA Weekend and Awards.

Actors like Zayed Khan, R. Madhavan, Irrfan Khan, Arshad Warsi, Riteish Deshmukh and Boman Irani are already here, apart from several leading ladies too, but the demand for Shah Rukh Khan is unmatched.

Shah Rukh is returning to perform at the IIFA after a gap of seven years.

Ronit's extra under-eye care

Looks are important for actors and they are extra cautious and conscious about it. And popular TV star Ronit Roy presented a perfect example when he started applying under-eye gel after boarding a 16-hour long flight to Toronto for the IIFA Weekend and Awards.

Ronit, who travelled in business class with his wife, caused quite a lot of excitement among his fans, who were trying hard to catch a glimpse of him from the economy class.

"Kitna fit hai (How fit is he!)", "He looks great off screen", "Badaa young lagta hai (He looks quite young)" were just some of the comments overheard by an IANS correspondent who was also aboard the flight.

Meanwhile Ronit, oblivious of the many eyes staring at him, continued moving his fingertips slowly in circular motion to ease his eyes of the strain of the travel time! (IANS)
