Bing adds a host of featuresThe penultimate leader after acquiring Yahoo, Microsoft has laid out its plans to include an array of features in its search engine- Bing.

Bing, search engine which is on a look to move ahead of Google is adding features such as Quick Tabs, a new Answer box and Foursquare integration with Bing Maps to increase the functionality, says an official statement from Bing's blog.

It is in plans to give a new definition to the search with its 'pumped-up' features, as it further elucidates. For example Quick tabs assists users to access subcategories of search queries including news, events and weather details.

In cases of news research Bing helps in finding the search easy, extracting real time results which will also feature the views and articles from NYT. Bing engineer Todd Schwartz comments via blog, "When we launched last June, one of the ways we helped customers get to better decisions was by providing a more visual, more intuitive, and more organized experience."

Improvising upon the features such as integrating Google maps with popular location based game Foursquare, allow game players to view game progress directly from the search engine.

Leaving no stones unturned the search engine is in a mood to conquer the internet search from Spring.
