IWHF to be merged with IHFIndian Women's hockey federation (IWHF) has declared that they are back in business and have started the process of combining IWHF with Indian hockey federation (IHF) to form a "democratically nominated" body. IWHF secretary Amrit Bose proclaimed that IWHF is in full agreement of the government rules for sports persons. She has commented that her job is now to guide and prepare younger generation.

Players are very disappointed because no activity was in the ground by them since last two years. Bose has also said that IWHF has created three members team to have a talk with IHF about the process of integration of two federations.

On the other hand, IHF chief has declared that they have also formed five members group to talk with IWHF to formulate the policy of merging at the top level first.

However, Bose has challenged IWHF president Vidya Stokes' claim that the women's federation has been combined with HI. She has also said that HI has been unsuccessful to hold election regularly to form a management to organize the things in proper manner.
