Lindsay Lohan defends her recent weight loss

Washington, May 6 : `Mean Girls' star Lindsay Lohan has defended her recent weight loss, following critics' remarks that she has gotten very thin.

Lohan, 22, who debuted her startlingly skinny figure while in Hawaii last week, says that she has been eating.

"I've been eating enough," US magazine quoted her as telling E! News.

A source revealed that the 5'5" actress showcased a skin-and-bones physique while on the island.

"I've never seen hipbones that stick out so much," the source stated.

It was also revealed that Lohan has been taking Adderall, a prescription drug usually given to people with attention deficit hyperactivity disorders, to lose weight.

"She takes Adderall all the time," another source said.

"She gets jittery because of the way the pills affect her. It''s a major reason why she''s losing weight," the source added. (ANI)
