After making a dynamic dent in audience’s minds with ‘Cheeni Kum,’ director R Balkrishnan is ready to recreate the same magic with his upcoming flick ‘Pa.’

The movie revolves around the deep father-son relationship, which is being portrayed by Amithabh Bachchan and Abhishekh Bachchan.

However, this time Balki has not chosen the ravishing and innocent Tabu as a leading lady.

While addressing the news persons, Mr. Balkrishnan said, “But that’s because Pa has no room for Tabu at all. This time the story is a father-son one. Amitabh has no love interest in the film and I am sorry about that. Abhishek does have a girl though.”

This time, the director has finalized multi-talented Vidya Balan to play Junior B’s love interest.

Balki said, “We’ve already approached Vidya. I can see her as a pair with Abhishek.”

Previously, Vidya and Abhi worked together in ‘Guru’ in which he played a brotherly figure to her. Moreover, the actress has also worked with the Big B in Eklavya .

Illyaraja will compose the music for the film, which is expected to hit the theaters in September 2008. It is learnt that it will be a joint production between Big B’s ABCL and MAD films.
