ICICI Bank launches ‘ICICI ACTIVE’ on Dish TV PlatformICICI Bank, India’s second largest lender, in association with Dish TV, India’s first direct to home(DTH) entertainment service provider has launched Interactive Banking Service “ICICI ACTIVE”. 

The latest move will facilitate Dish TV viewers to access information on ICICI Bank products and services, from the convenience of their homes. 

Through latest launched customer friendly service, Dish TV viewers will be able to get information about different types of ICICI Bank accounts and deposits that suits their need.

Bharti plans to soft launch DTH Services by next monthBharti Telemedia, the DTH license holder company of Bharti Airtel, is likely to soft launch its direct-to-home service in the first week of October.

According to sources, the company is hoping to get an FIPB approval before the launch, which is slated to launch DTH services on October 8. However, the company will officially launch its DTH service by the end of this year.

Star India, CJ Home to launch a new ‘Home Shopping Channel’ in the Country

Television broadcaster Star India Pvt. Ltd and South Korea’s CJ Home Shopping Ltd have formed a joint venture company, christened Star CJ Network India to launch 24/7 home shopping television channel in the country.

Under the arrangement, Star India will run the proposed channel while CJ Home Shopping will provide the backend support such as providing a host of products, tie-ups with local brands among others.

Both partners are expected to invest in around $2 million (about Rs 9 crore) towards uplinking and downlinking of the proposed channel.

Raj Television has no short term plans to enter into print media business

Raj Television Network has clarified that at present the company does not have any proposal to foray into print media business. However, the company may look at the proposal in the long-term.
