Camden Brothel Proposal RejectedAccording to the source, it was found out that the person who applied for the establishment of Camden’s first legal brothel at Narellan got disappointed as Camden Council has rejected his proposal of converting the premises at 1 Kibble Pl, Narellan, into the brothel with five working rooms. It was revealed that Camden’s nine counsellors have rejected the proposal.

Councilors have told that the proposed brothel’s proximity to fields which is mainly used by Macarthur Hockey Association and Narellan Jets Rugby League Club. It was the area where children would be on sport days.

Mr. Greg Hall reported that he was not surprised when his application was rejected but he noted a report was prepared by the council officers said that there were no children near the building when the place was surveyed.

Mr. Greg Hall said, “If there had been 30 children or something then there would have been an argument (to reject the proposal).”

Camden Mayor, Greg Warren also told that the council was not aware regarding the attention of Mr. Hall’s appeal for the rejecting of the proposal.

Councilors said supporting the Campbell’s request for council officers to prepare a report regarding the owners of brothels. Campbell said that the ratepayers would be forced to pay the cost of council health and compliance checks at a brothel if none of them were approved by the council.
