Carly Fiorina actively Exploring 2016 Presidential run

Republican Carly Fiorina, former chief executive of Hewlett-Packard, is considering a run for the 2016 GOP nomination for president. Therefore, she has been making rounds to different places, including Iowa and New Hampshire.

For four days, Fiorina is coming to New Hampshire. Fiorina has never held political office and now, she is using her business background and her gender to stand out, as otherwise its male, Republican primary field.

Her visit to New Hampshire will start on Tuesday, where she would be having a business-focused meeting with Republican House members. During her stay, she will meet many lawmakers and activists and will have business meetings and would also be part of a forum on national security issues.

She recently visited New Hampshire to attend a gathering of around 20 Republican White House hopefuls. Fiorina stated that being the only woman in the Republican field, she could neutralize Democrat Hillary Rodham Clinton's ability to make the election about gender.

It can be said that Fiorina is actively exploring her 2016 presidential run. But there could be some considerable challenges in front of Fiorina, 60. One of the main challenges is she has never held public office and her last campaign could also be a problem for her.

Fiorina still owes around $500,000 to consultants and staffers from her failed 2010 Senate bid in California. Her allies think that Fiorina would be a strong contender. David Carney, a top strategist for past GOP presidential candidates, was of the view that Fiorina is quite articulate. He mentioned that she has as many accomplishments, a story and ideas as anybody else who is running.
