For publishing Major General V K Singh’s book known as ‘India's External Intelligence: Secrets of RAW’, the (CBI) has raided the Manas Publications office in Daryaganj

The move follows a raid on Mr. Singh’s house a day earlier.

A CBI group raided the Gurgaon home of retired Major General V K Singh, on Friday, who is the former official of the Research and Analysis Wing or RAW.

The Cabinet Secretariat gave Singh's address to the CBI group on Friday afternoon. But when the group reached the address in east Delhi, the man came out to be Singh’s namesake, also a retired RAW functionary.

So it took the group just about three hours before they lastly reached out the RAW official's home.

In his recently published book titled India's External Intelligence: Secrets of RAW Singh had interrogated a number of loopholes in India's security system comprising intelligence failure and the Kargil war.

Singh was questioned for more than three hours, after which his computer was seized and a few other documents that were mentioned in his book. But Singh stated that he sticks around what he has written in his book.

Major General V K Singh, Former RAW official said, “'I still stand by what I have written and I am not at all going to get an anticipatory bail. Why should I? I have not done any wrong.”

Singh has been charged of breaching the Official Secrets Act or OSA by composing many sensible and vital intelligence related information in his book, which has put the RAW in an uncomfortable position.
