Suresh Raina has credited the India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni for such a brilliant hundred in the match against South Africa in Twenty 20 World Cup. He has become the third player in the Twenty 20 history to score a ton after Chris Gayle and Brendon McCullum. Raina has scored a superb knock of 101 runs in that match.

His innings has ensured India's victory as well as the Super Eight berth. He was declared Man of the Match. Now Raina is holding the record of highest score by an India player in a T20 international match surpassing Gautam Gambhir's 75. For this success, Raina thanked the Indian Skipper MS Dhoni. Dhoni is his captain in the Chennai Super Kings side as well.

As per Raina, he has used his skill well. Sometimes he has send Raina up the order at the position of No. 3. Even often he has used his off break bowling at the crucial stage of the match. So the skipper has shown immense confidence on this young player and this has helped him a lot. Raina has also said that senior players like Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid have also supported me throughout his career.
