It is to be mentioned here that the company has been able to post the highest sales in the history of the company in July this year.

The company has recently said in a statement that it has been able to clock a growth of close to 65% from a year earlier.

Moreover, the statement also mentioned the fact that it sold close to 318,415 vehicles in July compared with 192,835 in July last year.

Bajaj targets 3 lakh unit sales for August

Bajaj-AutoAfter posting the highest sales in the month of July this year, Bajaj Auto has decided to raise the bar for itself for August. Notably, the company is targeting sales of close to 3 lakh motorcycle units in the month of August. It is to be mentioned here that the sales of the company were up 1% at 3.18 lakh units as against 3.15 lakh units.

The company is aiming to touch unit sales of close to 3 lakh motorcycle sales in August. Moreover, it also has a bullish target of 3.25 lakh mark for the month of September.

Avenger 220cc debuts in India

Avenger 220cc debuts in IndiaAfter making a significant presence with the 200cc cruiser, Avenger, Bajaj Auto has recently announced the entry of the 220cc model in the Indian market. Priced at Rs. 69,000, the company is expecting to garner additional volumes under its umbrella.

It is to be mentioned here that the recently launched product is equipped with the company's patented DTS-i technology. The CEO of the two-wheelers division of the company, S. Sridhar said that the launch of the 220cc variant of the Avenger clearly an important step in the journey that the R&D team started few years ago.

According to analyst, the investors can hold the stock with target of Rs 2750 with stop loss of Rs 2390.

Today, the stock of the company opened at Rs 2526 on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).

The share price has seen a 52-week high of Rs 2544.50 and a low of Rs 1068.35 on BSE.

Current EPS & P/E ratio stood at 147.59 and 17.56 respectively.

Bajaj's small car to roll out from Waluj

Bajaj Auto has posted a net profit of Rs 590.15 crore for the quarter that ended in 30th June, 2010 which is almost doubled of the net profit figure of the similar quarter in the last fiscal. The company has registered a net profit of Rs 293.49 crore in the same quarter in the previous year.

Bajaj Auto Records 63% Growth In June SalesTwo wheeler manufacturer Bajaj Auto has registered a 63% growth in June sales, which stood at 315,422 units.

The company said that the sales were affected owing to limited production facilities.

Bajaja Auto sold 282,808 motorcycles during the last month as compared to 167,945, contributing 68 per cent growth over last year.

The company's three wheelers sales remained up by 32% in the month under review at 32,614 vehicles as against 24,731 units in June 2009.
