New Delhi [India], Apr 24 : Taxi aggregator Ola on Monday announced the launch of 'Ola Partners League' - a unique virtual cricket game for its driver partners.

The four week-long contest will see Ola driver partners score runs by completing simple tasks and redeeming them against exciting prizes such as cars, TVs, laptops and scholarships in leading cricket academies for children of driver partners.

Kick starting today, OPL is open to all Ola driver partners across Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, and Pune, and will be LIVE till 20th May, 2017. Ola has put together a three-day event that will introduce the city's potential Auto Driver Partners to Ola's platform, and give them the opportunity to purchase auto rickshaws at subsidized rates as well as avail several benefits such as free vehicle insurance, and garage services.

New Delhi [India], Apr 3 : Taxi aggregator Ola on Monday announced its effort to promote digital economy across the country as it integrated with Unified Payment Interface (UPI) to further simplify digital payment options for millions of customers.

The integration will allow Ola customers to use their unique UPI IDs to pay for all their rides on the Ola platform. UPI integration will lead to one of the fastest mode of payment for millions of Ola users.

As the country has made significant stride towards cashless economy, UPI itself has seen great acceptance, with the value of transaction through the interface reaching to more than 1300 crore, according to recent RBI report.

New Delhi [India], Mar 8 : Taxi aggregator Ola's hourly package service - 'Ola Rentals', gets more personal and contextual with the introduction of its latest connected car platform - Ola Play.

The service which was launched in November 2016, has been instrumental in transforming the in-cab experience for thousands on the go. With its launch in Rentals, the company expects the demand for this category to grow by at least 4x times over the next quarter.

New Delhi [India], Nov 10 : Digital payment solution from taxi aggregator Ola has reported over 1500 percent increase in recharges across the 102 cities of its operation.

The Ola Money wallet has witnessed unprecedented traction amongst consumers over the last 12-15 hours with a 15 times increase in recharge volume. In many smaller towns and cities across the country, which have predominantly been high on cash usage, there has been as much as 30 times growth.
