Details on Motorola’s Droid RAZR M 4G LTE leaked ahead of official unveilingWith recent reports revealing that Motorola will likely unveil its new Droid RAZR M 4G LTE at a September 6 event, the details on the forthcoming smartphone have been leaked before its official introduction.

According to Engadget, which apparently got hold of some exciting pictures of the somewhat familiar-looking handset, the Droid RAZR M 4G LTE from Motorola boasts a 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED advanced display; a 1.5GHz Snapdragon MSM8960 processor; NFC capabilities; 8GB of onboard storage; and 1GB of RAM.

In addition to the somewhat mid-range specifications of the Droid RAZR M 4G LTE, the leaked details on the new 4.4 ounce Motorola handset also revealed that the device will be powered by the Android OS version 4.0 `Ice Cream Sandwich' (ICS); and will feature an 8-megapixel camera on the rear, and a 3-megapixel front-facing camera.

Moreover, to ensure the safety of the smartphone, Motorola has, as is its practice, ensured that the display of the device is wrapped in Gorilla Glass 2, while its back is covered in the company's now-standard Kevlar fiber which has been designed to provide a sure grip, as well as protect against scratches and prints.

Despite the fact that the Motorola Droid RAZR M 4G LTE will run the Android ICS version on launch, the handset will apparently be upgraded to the latest Android `Jelly Bean' version some time in the near future.
