Di Maria's wife returns to go home after three men raid winger's home

London, Feb 04 - A raid on Manchester United star winger Angel Di Maria's home on Saturday evening, has left his wife so terrified that she is not willing to go home.

Di Maria's wife Jorgelina is currently staying in a top Manchester hotel and has reportedly refused to return to the family mansion after three men raided their home on Saturday.

The couple, who moved to the home in Cheshire following the star's 60 million-pound move from Real Madrid, were said to have been watching TV with their one-year-old daughter, Mia, when the raid occurred, The Daily Star reported.

Three men used metal poles to break through the family's patio door on Saturday. Luckily for Di Maria and his family, the burglars tripped alarms and quickly fled the scene.

The incident occurred just hours after the winger starred in a 3-1 victory over Leicester.

The family has now moved into the Lowry Hotel in Manchester with shaken Jorgelina refusing to return home.

Di Maria decided to drive his wife and daughter back to their home on Sunday, with the club offering him round-the-clock security protection, but Jorgenlina was reportedly not keen on their return and requested they stay at the hotel.

A source revealed that Di Maria's wife is completely freaked out, adding that it's really affected her especially with a young daughter, insisting that Jorgelina's worried these guys know where she lives and they've not been caught yet. (ANI)
