A new study by the researchers at University  College London have claimed that obesity could be controlled with the help of drugs.

This drug will be as effective as surgery is.

Surgery control hormone levels in our gut . So, the researchers are investing a process to control hormone levels with the help of medication. The drug will control the patient’s hunger and help recover from obesity.

The scientists predict that within five years they will start using this drug to cure obesity. Ghrelin-a “hunger hormone” and some other hormones  in our gut are responsible for hunger and glucose level.

The technique can be used to cure type2 diabetes and the researchers are focusing their efforts in the development of injection and sprays so that hunger level can be controlled. In future, this technique can also replace surgery.
