@earlybird online shopping forum TwitterTwitter the micro-blogging site has rolled out the web-based shopping service @earlybird, technology website TG Daily reports.

It supposedly is believed to cater to a similar business model to online shopping portals like sites such as Gilt and Woot in giving a time-sensitive, limited deal on the service.

Twitter through a stated: "We partner with select advertisers and retweet offers that they have crafted only for the Twitter community. Our advertising partners determine the terms of the offer, including availability, amount, and price."

Supposedly this new service is believed to proffer adverts from several of its exclusive partner brands that come out on the web page like any other advert or tweet.

Users can follow or un-follow @earlybird anytime.

Twitter has stated that @earlybird is a part of the company's efforts to services, but report doesn't reveal the details of the deals.
