Firemen battle flames at hostel in central London
London - A fire broke out Tuesday in a converted church in London used as a hostel, the fire brigade said.
Sixty firefighters were tackling the large blaze, which broke out at the building in Shepherd's Bush Road, west London, just before 0600 GMT.
People have been reported missing, London Fire Brigade said.
It was not clear how many people were in the building at the time the fire broke out, the fire brigade said.
There were so far no reports of injuries, a spokesman added. (dpa)
