London, April 13 : If a new study is anything to go by, 40 percent Britons believe in ghosts and over 50 percent in life after death.
The survey of more than 2,000 people has shown that seven out of ten people believe in the human soul and more than five out of ten believe in heaven.
ComRes, the company that conducted the research for Theos, found that one in five believes in astrology or horoscopes, one in ten in Tarot or fortune telling and nearly three in ten people believe in reincarnation.

London, Apr 10: Turin Shroud, the linen cloth bearing image of a man who appears to have been physically traumatized in a manner consistent with crucifixion, could be the burial gown of Jesus, says a leading scientist.
Turin Shroud is kept in the royal chapel of the Cathedral of Saint John the Baptist in Turin, Italy. It is believed by many to be the cloth placed on Jesus of Nazareth at the time of his burial.
New Delhi, Apr. 3: Ram Navami, the birthday of Lord Ram, is being celebrated today with religious zeal and gaiety across the country.

M K Dwivedi, additional Chief Executive Officer of the shrine board, said that more than 6.5 million pilgrims visit the shrine every year, and the number of pilgrims is rising year-on-year.
