The Wales international has missed City's last three games after suffering the injury during City's 3-1 UEFA Cup quarter-final first leg defeat to Hamburg.

"Craig has got to have complete rest for two weeks then he comes back for strength work," said Hughes.

"Hopefully he might get the last couple of games, but the probability is that he won't."
