Graduates believe job market is improving
A research has shown that for freshers the job market has begun to show signs of improvement. Most of these are university leavers and they say that improvements have begun to appear for the first time since recession stuck.
Besides the freshers, some 200 employers from UK were also considered. They revealed that there has been an increase of 8.9 per cent in the number of graduate jobs annually. Adding to this was a statement from the Association of Graduate Recruiters that said that competition in the employers' market has begun to appear.
But while the numbers would have shown a rise, the average salary has stayed same for the last three years which was at £25,000 every year. Whatever the case may be, the survey clearly shows that the number of job opportunities have gone up after the recession.
Last year, there was a surge in the number of vacancies, well above the forecast that stood at 3.8 per cent.
Carl Gilleard, chief executive of the Association of Graduate Recruiters (AGR) while giving his views said that it is really good to see that after so many months there has been a rise in the job arena.
