Gwalior septuagenarian plays 11-feet flute for Guinness Book

Gwalior, July 25 : A septuagenarian in Gwalior wishes to leave no stone unturned to get his name endorsed in the Guinness Book of World Records. To make his claim for inclusion in the record book, he plays an eleven-feet flute, designed by him.

Ramkrishna Trivedi has been playing flute since his childhood and is an avid Indian classical music artiste.

It was his zeal to outperform others that made him attempt various things besides playing the flute. This way he also started making flutes.

Ramkrishna is at home while playing long flutes and it takes him just an hour to prepare such flutes.

"I have learnt how to make and I don''t face any problem either. I faced little problem while playing it initially. I can prepare it in one hour easily," he added.

"Initially, I played an eight feet long flute in Benaras, then 10 feet long in Mumbai and now 11 feet. After this, my aim is to play a 15-feet long flute. If someone attempts the same, I aim to play even a bigger flute which would continue like that," said Ramkrishna Trivedi.

Aspirations, however, refuse to die even at this ripe age for Ramkrishna, who wishes to have his name inscribed in the Guinness Book of World Records. (ANI)
