‘Heroes’ Is Not A Patriotic Movie, Says Samir KarnikAfter ‘Kyun Ho Gaya Na’ And ‘Nanhe Jaisalmer’, ace Bollywood director Samir Karnik is back to set box office afire with his latest his latest multi-starrer ‘Heroes.’

Salman Khan, who has played different roles in his flicks, would now be doing something, which he hasn’t done previously.

In Heroes, Sallu will be seen playing the role of a Sardarji for the first time.

While talking about the movie, Samir stated, “Heroes is a road trip movie which is a journey of certain characters. It takes them from place to place and formulates the story of the film. There is a hero inside everyone. It is only one moment or experience that makes us realize how we can make a difference or think about our country. Heroes is not a war film. It is not even a patriotic film. It is a fun and entertaining film.”

There are lots of rumors regarding the movie being similar to the cult classic ‘The Motorcycle Diaries.’

Samir Karnik tries to clear the air and said, “Heroes is not based on ‘The Motorcycle Diaries.’ It is an original story and screenplay. The only similarity in the two films is the motorcycle.”

He also said that real life dashing brothers Sunny and Bobby Deol will be playing reel life brothers in the movie yet again.

“Sunny and Bobby are playing brothers in Heroes. They have outstanding chemistry together. You have seen them in the past as well. They share an amazing screen space and look very good together.”

Samir thinks that the music of the movie is already a hit.

“Heroes has the highest number of cassettes and cds selling all over India. In north India, the songs Makhana and Mannata are very successful. In Bihar and U.P, the song Badmash Launde is doing great as well.”

‘Heroes’ is slated for an October 24 release.
