Mumbai-headquartered Hindustan Dorr Oliver has received an order worth Rs 13 crore from BALCO (a part of Vedanta Group).

The scope of work includes design, engineering, procurement, manufacturing, supply, civil works, erection/ construction, testing & commissioning of Fume Treatment plant for BALCO's Smelter Expansion Project at Korba.

France-based Fives Solios will be the Technology partner for Hindustan Dorr in this project. The total order for Hindustan Dorr along with its technology partner stands at 2.76 billion rupees. The project is to be executed in 20 months.

Ahead of positive announcement, the stock of the company closed with gain of 5% at Rs 138 on BSE. The counter has made 52-week-high and low of Rs 156 and Rs 24 respectively.
