Bathroom solutions provider H & R Johnson Ltd has inked a 50:50 joint venture agreement with Silica Ceramica to build a tile manufacturing facility at Eluru in Andhra Pradesh.

The proposed pact entails an investment of Rs 50 crore.

The source close to the company revealed that under the terms of 50:50 JV deal, Silica Ceramica will make vitrified tiles and H & R Johnson will market the products through its distribution network.

he source also said that commercial production is expected to start by January 2009.

According to the reports, in the previous fiscal, the company has registered revenue of Rs 1,030 crore.
