HTC expands desire series with three new smartphones

New-HTC-Desire-SeriesTaiwanese smartphone maker, HTC has expanded its desire series with the launch of three smartphones to attract new customers in the market.

The company announced the launch of Desire 501, Desire 700 and Desire 601 in the market in the mid-high range price category. All of the three devices come with Dual SIM and Dual Standby feature. HTC desire 501 is priced at Rs. 16,890 while the other two devices, Desire 700 and Desire 601 are priced at Rs. 33,050 and Rs. 24,190, respectively. The devices run on the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean OS and feature HTC Sense UI.

HTC Desire 501 comes with 4.3 inch display with a resolution of 480x800 pixels and is powered by a 1.15GHz Dual-Core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. It has 8MP rear camera along with a 2.1MP front facing camera for video calling purpose. The Desire 700 is a 5-inch phablet with qHD Display and is powered by a 1.2GHz Quad-Core processor and 1GB RAM. The third device Desire 601 has 4.5-inch display with qHD display and is powered by a 1.2GHz Quad-Core processor paired with 1GB RAM.
