India will soon launch its second swine flu vaccine
Swine flu has again started rooting its footsteps in India, till now it is reported that around 15000 people have been affected by the disease in the past one year and 16 deaths were reported last week due to swine flu.
To fight against the spread of swine flu in the country India has to launch its second vaccine very soon, commented by Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad on Friday.
Before the spread of H1N1 flu India does not have any indigenous vaccine for the same but now the pharmaceutical companies have developed the vaccine within eight months of the request, he said.
Recently last month, India had launched its first indigenous vaccine manufactured by pharmacy giant Zydus Cadila.
Azad further told that very soon India will launch its second vaccine for swine flu keeping the manufacturer name unrevealed.
Country's President Pratibha Patil has inaugurated the seminar and congratulates the medical fraternity for developing India's first swine flu vaccine in a very short period of time.
Most affected places from swine flu are Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra.
